Ankur Saraswat is the Vice President, Product Development at Mastercard AI Garage. He is an experienced business leader with 16 years of experience spread across banking, e-commerce, retail & media, pharma domains. In his current role at AIG, he is responsible for development and deployment of products focussing on portfolio risk management for acquirers by means of providing timely alerts/insights and recommending preventive action plan. In addition to this, his team is also actively involved in various research initiatives focussing on varied topics thus creating IP and publishing papers.
Brian McGuigan is the Senior Vice President, Artificial Intelligence at Mastercard. He is responsible for establishing Mastercard as an AI powerhouse, leveraging and implementing AI at scale, and providing Mastercard and its business partners with a foundational competitive advantage for the future.
Brian joined Mastercard in 2011 as the financial officer for the Data & Analytics division of Mastercard Advisors, and transitioned to lead AI program management in 2018.
He received his MBA from Northeastern University in Innovation Entrepreneurship and High Tech Management and is a member of Beta Gamma Sigma honor society. Brian is also a New York State Certified Public Accountant.
Deepak Yadav is a Director in Product development in AI garage. He graduated from IIT Kharagpur and IIM Calcutta and brings over 10 years of payment industry experience in fraud risk management, Commercial credit risk management and Merchant analytics and consulting. He has been managing development of state of art AI solutions for preventing fraud at merchants at various lifecycle stages. His current interest areas lie in Graph neural networks, time series modeling, anomaly detection and Generative AI.
Gaurav Dhama is the Director,Product Development at Mastercard AI Garage. He is an experienced Data Science leader with over 9 years of experience leading and implementing applied and research projects in machine learning. Gaurav has contributed tremendously for Research at AI Garage. He has published research papers in top tier venues such as ICLR, IJCNN, KDD, ICMLA, ICONIP along with a book chapter published in Springer's Deep Learning Applications on Deep learning based Time Series Forecasting and he has filed over 15 patents both in US and India.
Jessica Peretta is the Vice President, Artificial Intelligence at Mastercard. She joined Mastercard in 2015 as Vice President, Product Management for the Data & Services division of Mastercard and transitioned to lead AI Garage division for Cyber & Intelligence in 2019. Previously, Jessica has led marketing & web analytics, optimization, and market research for Saks.com, SaksOff5th.com, LordandTaylor.com and theBay.com.
She received her MA from Columbia University, New York in Statistics.
Karamjit Singh is currently working as a Director of Artificial Intelligence at Mastercard. He has a total of 10 years of experience in building AI-driven products across industries and domains. He has done a dual master's degree, Mtech in computer applications from IIT Delhi, and Masters in Mathematics achieving JRF. He has authored over 15 publications in AI/ML conferences and has over 20 patents filed by his name. He has won many data challenges including 2nd Rank in CIKM 2020 analytics cup, winner of IEEE VGTC VPG International Data-Visualization Contest. He has served in the Program Committee of several Data science conferences and workshops and is also an organizer of the MUFin workshop in CIKM 2021.
Nitendra is an ACM Distinguished Scientist and an IEEE Senior Member.
Problems that currently interest him are in the area of anomaly detection, time-series modelling, information extraction, information representation, scalable machine learning and large graph networks.
Nitendra comes with 20 years of experience at IBM Research, working on different aspects of machine learning, HCI, software engineering and mobile sensing.
Rohit Chauhan is responsible for establishing Mastercard as an AI powerhouse, leveraging and implementing AI at scale, providing Mastercard and its business partners with a foundational competitive advantage for the future.
Prior to his current role, he led the Data & Analytics P&L for the organization. He joined Mastercard in 2006 from M&T Bank, where he led the Retail Risk Management function. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree from Government Engineering College, Jabalpur, India, a MS in Computer Science and an MBA from State University of New York at Buffalo.
Sue Skelsey works on the Acquirer Risk Management Solutions product, which provides AI fraud based scoring on merchants to acquirers, and on Authorization Optimizer Powered by AI product, which provides AI based retry recommendations to merchants on insufficient fund declines. Prior to joining the AI Products team in March 2022, she worked on the Commerce Innovation team on solutions like connected car, shopping through screens, AI drive thru, and livestreaming. Sue joined Mastercard in 2015 after graduating with an MBA from the Darden Graduate School of Business, prior to which she worked in consulting at Booz Allen Hamilton, corporate finance at Lockheed Martin, and obtained an undergraduate degree in Marketing from the Smith School of Business at the University of Maryland, College Park.
Yatin Katyal is the Director,Product Development at Mastercard AI Garage. He has developed and deployed products across verticals in areas like Marketing, Bidding, HR, AML, Fraud, Authorization, Account takeover and Merchant Risk. He is responsible for scoping complex business problems & delivering sophisticated data science solutions. Yatin has 12 years of extensive experience in data science domain with expertise in e-commerce and banking industry. He is experienced in Big data driven Machine learning/Deep learning projects in areas like Natural Language Processing, Recommendation Systems, Classification/Regression Models, Time Series Forecasting, Unsupervised learning, anomaly detection and time-series modelling.
Maneet's work focuses on modelling financial data for different applications involving utility of various AI/ML tools and technologies. She has done her PhD from IIIT-Delhi, with the Image Analysis and Biometrics Laboratory under the Infosys Center for Artificial Intelligence in the CSE department. Maneet was awarded the Overseas Research Fellowship at IIIT-Delhi, and has spent almost an year as a Visiting Research Scholar at the West Virginia University, USA, under Prof. Afzel Noore. As part of her PhD thesis, she has developed deep learning based models (such as autoencoders, convolutional neural network, capsule networks) for facial analysis in surveillance settings, specifically for low resolution data. She has also developed an application for face recognition in surveillance scenarios which was funded by the Ministry of Electronics and IT, Government of India. Recently her team was awarded the Facebook's Ethics in AI research award, 2019 for our research on "Mitigating Bias in Face Recognition For Vast Regional Diversity in India".
Siddhartha's current research interest lies in developing AI and ML solution in industrial setting and has experience developing the same for payment industry, healthcare, renewable energy, mobile and voice based system, etc . In his Ph.D., Siddhartha has worked on building mobile system for developing region that was supported by TCS research fellowship. For his research work, Siddhartha has received several awards and travel grant from Google India, ACM SIGSOFT, Microsoft Reserach India, etc. During his Ph.D., he has worked with several organisation that includes Delhi Government, JJ Hospital (Mumbai), PGI Chandigarh, etc. Siddhartha has also served as reviewer for several prestigious research venues such ACM SIGCHI, ACM CODS-COMAD, AAAI, etc.
Alok is director, product development in AI Garage, Mastercard. Alok has experience in AI/ML working in banking, healthcare and payment network domains. He has worked on disease prevention and fraud waste and abuse detection in healthcare working with fortune 5 companies. He manages multiple product pipelines at Mastercard which solve the problem of declined authorization and Fraud using state of the art AI techniques.
