Ben Gilbey
Senior Vice President, Digital Consumer Solutions, Asia Pacific 

Ben Gilbey is senior vice president, Digital Consumer Solutions, Asia Pacific, Mastercard. In this role, Ben is responsible for ensuring Mastercard’s suite of payments solutions meets the requirements and expectations of today’s digital consumer. To that end, the Digital Consumer Solutions team works closely with financial institutions and fintechs across Asia Pacific to ensure that digital payment credentials are easily accessible, safe, secure and simple to use across multiple form factors and payment modes.

Prior to joining Mastercard, Ben worked at PayPal as director, regional head for Mobile, Asia Pacific. Ben has spent the past 20 years living and working in Asia Pacific in a career deeply involving digital payments and product development spanning across mobile content and gaming, app development and mobile payments.

Ben graduated from London School of Economics, London, with a Masters degree in Economics.
