Lyndal Cardy
Senior Vice President, Chief Technology Officer, Asia Pacific

As regional cto, Lyndal leads the Mastercard Technology organization that operates and protects Mastercard’s payments network across the Asia Pacific region. From developing the company’s tech stack, to bolstering the foundation for open banking and digital ID, to providing a best-in-class employee experience, Mastercard Technology helps the company to grow, move into new areas, and serve more partners. In addition, Lyndal also plays a critical role in Markets & Localization where she works across the function’s three pillars – customer success, regulatory, and technology solutioning – and is also a member of the Asia Pacific Leadership Team.

With Mastercard for more than 20 years, Lyndal previously served as Australia Tech Hub Lead from 2018-early 2023, playing a pivotal role in the successful roll-out of the Tech Hub strategy, including focus on customer and community engagement, talent acquisition, culture and the future of work. Prior to this, Lyndal worked across product and delivery, including EMV smart card migration across Asia Pacific, Mastercard Payment Gateway Services deployments throughout Asia Pacific, Middle East, and Africa, and Commercial payment solutions.

Based in Sydney, Lyndal is an active contributor to Mastercard’s Women’s Leadership Network and Girls4Tech STEM education program which aims to inspire girls to develop their interests and skills in technology fields.
