Mastercard Appoints Kelly Devine as President, Europe

Mastercard today announced the appointment of Kelly Devine as Regional President, Europe. Devine takes over from Mark Barnett who after leading Europe for five years, is assuming a new and expanded role to lead the company’s global focus on small business enterprises, a key pillar of Mastercard’s growth strategy.
Devine returns to Mastercard after serving as Customer Director at Dunelm, a major UK retailer. Prior to that role, she spent nine years at Mastercard, most recently as President of the company’s U.K. & Ireland business. She led the company’s top consumer issuing and merchant relationships, leading to significant market growth.

Importantly, he expanded our relationships across Europe to ensure people and businesses have reliable choices to pay and get paid with the most innovative and secure payment products. He also continued to drive forward the company’s diversification into growth sectors and solutions including commercial payments, and data and cybersecurity services,” concluded Ling Hai.

Devine will report to Ling Hai, President, APEMEA and will join Mastercard’s Management Committee, effective 1 September, 2025. She will be based in the company’s European Headquarters in Waterloo, Belgium.
